Written Task #2

Your next assignment is a Written Task Type 2 for either The Stone Gods or for a Part 2 topic.

a. First proposal: 4 December 2016
b. Detailed Proposal: 11 December 2016
c. Draft reviewed by 3 fellow V5 or V6 students and corrected: 11 January 2017

Since this is an essay based upon one of six standard questions, it is imperative that all efforts be made to avoid accidental plagiarism. As IB regulations mandate, even accidental plagiarism will result in penalties, in this case a 1 for the assignment.

It is not enough to name your source in your source list.  You need to specify which text you have borrowed.  In a Type 2 task you can use an in-text reference; in a Type 1 task, you must identify what text you have borrowed in your source list.

Written Task Marks and Comments

I have marked your written tasks and given comments on them in Magister.
In your portfolio, create a folder for Written Task #1 and copy all the files related to this task into that folder.  Additionally, copy my comments from Magister into a word document and save it in the same folder.  You will need these comments to help you decide which written tasks to submit to the IB next year, and this will be the only way you can find them.
